My name is Durdanah Jahan, and I am a PhD student at the Instituto de Parasitología y Biomedicina López-Neyra (IPBLN) in Granada, Spain. I am originally from Kashmir, India.
I completed my Master’s degree (M2) at Université d’Évry Paris-Saclay, and prior to that I obtained an integrated BSc–MSc in Biotechnology from the Central University of Kashmir, India.
My current research focuses on mapping nanoscale interactions between glycosaminoglycans and mineral precursors during bone formation, particularly in the context of Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Through this work, I aim to better understand how extracellular matrix components regulate mineralization processes and how their alterations contribute to pathological bone fragility.
Giorgia Esposito
Master student
I’m Giorgia Esposito and I’m from Naples, Italy. I’m a Master student in Industrial Bioengineering, at the University of Napoli “Federico II”, where I also earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering. Currently I’m in Granada,Spain conducting a research traineeship at the IPBLN (Instituto de Parasitología y Biomedicina ‘López-Neyra’) where I’m developing my Master’s Thesis focusing on Bone Tissue Analysis.
